This place just opened recently and already one of my favorite spots – best nasi kandar I’ve had after Deen in Penang! This was my second visit, and it really suits my taste. Brought my 82 years old MIL for lunch and we were satisfied with the food. We ordered 2 fried chicken, squid, daging masak hitam, 2 types of eggs, plus 4 type of veggies, and the total was only RM51 for 3 of us. Really worth it for the portion and taste. (Photo was showing my plate of food) This place was packed when we arrived, and there was a queue, but surprisingly we got a table pretty fast. Seating is fine for small groups, though tables are a bit close together. If you’re coming with a big family, it can be a bit tight - but just let the waiter know and they’ll help arrange. The restaurant is clean and well-kept, which makes dining there more comfortable even when it’s crowded. Parking is available right in front of the shop, so no issue even when bringing elderly. Overall, a really good eating spot in BSP. Tasty nasi kandar, clean environment, reasonable price, and decent service even when busy. Will definitely come back again to try more dishes! Thank you!

This was a pleasant surprise really. I came here with not so high hope of getting a good "nasi kandar", merely was just trying to sample the curry amid the many "mamak corners" that tried to disguise as a nasi kandar restaurant. Boy how I was wrong completely. Nasi Kandar or Nasi Lemak Royale here was magnificent. Identical to the sweet curry of what you can find in Alor Setar, Kedah. I can only hope they would not slacken the quality of the food in many months to come. Highly recommended. Very good!

Finally we have an authentic Alor Setar style nasi kandar restaurant in Kajang. Displaying the Hijau Kuning state colours, this is a bright and inviting restaurant with lots of seating. On our first visit here, we were attracted to the lamb shank curry on display. The staff will put it in a claypot and heat it up for you before serving. The gravy was thick and unctuous and would be equally good paired with rice or roti canai. This gets Recommendation. Curries and fried items were all good. Fried chicken and fried bittergourd were both fresh and crispy. The ubiquitous ladies finger, green chili, stir fried cabbage and salted egg were available. You have a choice of white rice or the northern style Nasi Lemak which is yellow rice with a little coconut santan added. You can ‘banjir’ the rice with ‘kuah campur’ too. Overall it was a good first impression and I’ll certainly be back to try more in future.

woah it was good. The gravy was very flavourful, and given the price, it was reasonable. Chicken was crunchy and cooked with tonnes of spices. Definitely a good nasi kandar!
